Drew from Blackstar UK demo's the HT Club 40 combo in store.
Blackstar Amplification was formed a few years back by two ex-Marshall R & D guys and their reputation has grown steadily since then, one of their newest models is the HT Club 40 which is an all-valve 40 watt combo amp that uses a Celestion 12 inch speaker.

Controls left to right are volume, voice control and tone for the clean channel, Overdrive Select button, followed by gain, voice control, volume, bass, middle, treble and ISF (Infinite Shape Feature), all for the overdrive channel, finally we have the Master reverb and volume levels. The ISF, (incidentally also found on the Blackstar HT-5 and HT Studio 20), alters the way the tone stack responds, particularly in the midrange. By turning it all the way anti-clockwise youll get what the manufacturers are calling typical USA tones. A full clockwise turn gives you "UK" (for "UK" read Marshall) sounds.

Around the back of the combo are the external speaker jacks, an emulated output for recording purposes, a reverb dark (out) or light (in) switch, an effects loop return and send with a handy level (+4 dbV, -10 dbV) switch for tailoring the volume response to pedals or rack units, and finally the footswitch jack for switching between the channel input and reverb.
