new from UNDER NEATH WHATs andrew berenyi aka blaze malaise. ITS been known for years that andrew berenyi is a great artist, and to be blunt, a STAR.. this track had been lost for some time in a pile of demos. it was recently found during a studio cleanout, and with very little done to it, berenyi simply added a very simple video in about an hour, and it was posted. this is a good example of what can be done very easily, with hardly any gear or time or money or anything. just desire. desire to make a sound that makes a difference. desire to go one's own way damn the consequences. and whether this sort of thing is your "bag,"or not, it's pretty much ready for public consumption, although it could be tweeked a little, produced a little, but in the end what is necessary? nothing really. if one wants to hear stuff that doesn't really say anything about the artist on an intimate level, they can always listen to the radio. but if you want depth, raw expression of a moment in a life, listen to this. this IS the alternative.--wallace burnside, BILLBOARD.
