Saturday June 2, 2012 found The Hangmen at El Cid in Silver Lake, CA, showcasing brand new songs from their just-released album, "East of Western." Frontman Bryan Small reunited with guitar player Jimmy James for this tribute song to Lux Interior of the Cramps. To paraphrase All-Music Guide, The Hangmen's trademark dual-guitar attack combines the sinister allure of the Cramps and the classic-rock drive of the Rolling Stones and AC/DC with the hard-charging swagger of Johnny Thunders' Heartbreakers.
