DESCRIPTION:
It's a gloomy and rainy Monday. You get out of bed, scratch everything that needs to be scratched and then decide to sit down at your computer to check your email, to do list items, etc. As you peruse your inbox you notice that most of your messages seem to contain requests for your help. You sit back and reach up to scratch your chin but are turned away by a long shaggy beard just as you realize: "Oh yeah - I'm God".
We're Bex NJ dive in and feel the "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
Who are we? We are a 2 person music making system (once upon a time, referred to as a “band”). We’ve lived in this galaxy only for a short time but are finally acclimating. We were incarnated for a few years in the mid 90’s as the Detroit alt-indie band Nativ Rage. But we died due to excessive pleasure-seeking behavior and now have reincarnated as Bex NJ.
Our music is eccentric, eclectic, acoustic and electric. And we are here to help humans grow up (which is pretty ironic considering how immature we are ourselves). So if you enjoy our music then subscribe to our channel and take the first step towards becoming a fully WOKE human.
Then, when you feel that you are ready, mosey on over to our website @ http://www.bexnj.com and our blog @ http://bexnj.blogspot.com and get the legit scoop with a side of cool.
If you don't count yourself as a member of the large sheeple herd and like to decide for yourself what music you like rather than having large corporations do that for you, you can get digital downloads of our tunes on all the major digital music distributors such as iTunes, Amazon, etc. Just search for "Bex NJ".
If you like us (or even if you don't and you want to yell at us about it) then feel free to email us at BexNJRocks@gmail.com
Lyrics:
First we prayed to stay warm
God rolled his eyes
Then we fought and made war
God rolled his eyes
He said love all, we turned away
Fingers point and stakes burned
God rolled his eyes
Hatred flew as pages turned
Fists shook the skies
No more sadness
No more pain (no more pain)
We won't ever
Grieve again (grieve again)
Tell us why
Tell us again
Said you'd return
Tell us when
Where are you now?
Where have you been?
Who are we
Gonna follow all around
Who are we now
