Phoenix, AZ is a well-known city for thrash metal fans since it is the birthplace of such classic bands like FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, SACRED REICH and, more recently, VEKTOR. ABIOTX are another worthy example of Phoenix Thrash Metal! In their 15 years of existence a new album "Liquid Damage" is their second full-length. The first album, "Straight To Hell", was released in 2011 also by Drunk With Power Records. During the years the band has matured considerably in level of musical ability and in terms of material interestingness. The basis of the ABIOTX sound is mid-late 80s UK thrash metal/punk crossover (ONSLAUGHT, ANIHILATED, ENGLISH DOGS) mixed with German thrash/speed metal. Quite a dark atmosphere, regular fast to mid-tempo changes, an impressive variety of guitar riffs in almost every song, and recognizable vocals - the main features of the ABIOTX style! "Liquid Damage" is 8 songs in 36 minutes overall including a cover version of the BROKEN BONES classic song "Seeing Through My Eyes"! 8-page booklet contains all lyrics and many photos!
