Formed in 1980 by lyricist/vocalist Dave Hill and guitarist Mal Spooner, Chris Ellis, Les Hunt and John Wright they hooked up with Clay Records (Stoke On Trent) supremo, Mike Stone, in 1980, to release their first single, 'Liar'. Issued on blood-red vinyl, in a limited edition run of just 5000 copies, Liar marked the beginning of an incredible story spanning three decades - and counting. DEMON have had several Line-Up changes through the years due mainly to the death of Mal Spooner in 1984 (Dave Hill's writing partner and Guitarist). DEMON are quite unique and hard to pigeon hole, the best way to describe their music is Melodic Rock with an edge and skilfully crafted songs, they now have 11 studio albums and a new STUDIO ALBUM on the way later this year 2011 as yet untitled. The current line-up is one of the strongest and now is definitely a good time to go and see DEMON. Website address www.the-demon.com
