4. Where did you grew up?

I grew up in Logan Square and Humboldt Park.

5. Tell me about yourself and how you became interested in the music industry?

As a young child I would hear rap music every day with my sisters and my dad. I would listen to everything from 2 Pac, Big Pun, Notorious Big, Wu Tang, Master P, and everything else. I would just listen to all the words, a lot of their lyrics were true and were real because I would see it in my own eyes. I walked down my city streets and as I grew up I started living those same lyrics. As I got older that was my outlet to stress, anger, and joy plus I eat sleep breathe music it’s my life and my wife.

6. What artist influenced you to rapping?

There were actually 2 artist that influenced my life 2 Pac and Big Pun.

7. How did you become 108 and why?

Well 108 for me started as a high school party crew named ODA. Back in my younger days Noiz was the original creator of ODA so when he made this crew he started recruiting all the cool kids lol! The original members were Noiz, Nappz, Ace Mac, Heata, Gusto, Havana Joe and me. So happen that we all made or loved music in our own way. I started off battle rapping so once I found out Noiz made beats and the other guys rapped as well, it was like faith put us together. All high school friends with remarkable talent!!

8. What is a typical day in your shoes like?

A day in Big Ez's shoes is kind of crazy. It persist of grinding and plotting on the next big thing for 108, along with hours of studio time, and getting all the pieces of the puzzle together with Noiz and Mr. Chicago. I’m the captain, Noiz is CEO, and Mr. Chicago is my right hand the under boss/co-captain.

9. What are your goals in the music industry?

My goal is to make great music for all types of music lovers all around the world. So that I get my message across to all cultures and races. I want to put that Latin buzz back in rap that Big Pun created. I say this with all due respect, I think Latin’s aren’t playing there parts in rap music today as they should. Pun opened a door so that many Latin artist could walk threw and none of them didn’t.

10. In your opinion, is Hip-Hop dead?

Never!!!! HIP-HOP is like gold and diamonds it never dies. HIP-HOP just goes through withdraws which I mean LACK OF TALENT!!
