4. Where you grew up?

I grew up in Chicago, Logan Square area.

5. Tell me about yourself and how did you become interested in the music industry?

Ever since a little boy I had a passion for music. I would have to say I was inspired to produce/engineer when I was in the 8th grade. My school funded a trip for about 8 students to record an educational record and perform it in front of the entire school. I would say that trip to the studio really made me get on my hustle. Basically Ace Mac and I got tired of playing on that 1980s Casio lol. Eventually me and my dude Damian put together a basement studio and got to work. Around then a few of the same dudes I went to school with said they rapped to. So I would make them kick cyphers around the school, actually during school at somebody house. Before 108 we was just some young dudes that did not go to school and throw the craziest parties during school and freestyle all damn day at those parties. Once we got serious, actually we all got kicked out of school lol. We then knew we had to get serious on the music shit and ever since then it’s been 108 or nothing!

6. What artist influenced you?

Ice Cube, Eazy E, Ghetto Boys, 2 Pac, Snoop, Dre, Biggie, Onyx, Wu Tang, oh and Vanilla Ice just kidding.

7. How did you become 108 and why?

Damian and I made 108. At that time Chicago had no rap artist doing shit except for Twitsa, and he wasn’t even really put on yet.

So we started 108 "Tax On The Dollar". If you bought anything for a dollar in Chicago it would come out to $1.08 we taxing the game for them dollars!

8. What is a typical day in your shoes like?

Ahhh damn, my days are nuts I wake everyday at 7am and go work I handle all my business man shit from 9am to 5pm. Then I go to the studio and produce records for 108 or different artist I work with. It takes a strong dude to deal with all this shit I do. I feel like I live 3 lives Business man, Producer, and Family Man. I have 2 kids that I try to spend as much time with, but daddy has to put food on the table and pay for the best education they can get. I do find enough time for my kids though. With as much shit as I do, I spend more time with my kids then some fathers that don’t do shit all day.

9. What are your goals in the music industry?

My goals are just to let the world hear my sound. Forget making a million dollars I want a million people hearing me. As long as I have the people behind me I can accomplish anything. Sometimes it’s just better to be rich in love.

10. In your opinion, is Hip-Hop dead?

Naw, I think Hip-Hop is bigger than it’s ever been. We are the new Rock & Roll. Hip-Hop has grown so big it now has its own Hip-Hop genres just like rock. You have Soul Hip-Hop, Underground Hip-Hop, Commercial Hip-Hop, Gangster Hip-Hop, North, South, East, and West Hip-Hop I mean you get the picture. The question is what Hip-Hop are you?

11. What Artist/Producers have you worked with?

I have worked with Keith Crouch, Nefue, Wild Style of Crucial Conflict, Mechalie Jamison, Drew Sidora, Bump J, Ace Mac, All of 108, Teddie Cain, Slim The Mobster, Newsense of Psycho Drama, J dott, Chi Ill, Reap, Benny Point, and many more artist.

12. What Artist/Producers would you want to work with?

I’m willing to work with anyone really. I love working with everybody, as a producer it’s my job to make the artist sound good so it’s a challenge I enjoy.

13. Would you consider making other genres of music?

Hell yeah, I have to crossover eventually.

14. What’s your favorite record that you made?

I got to many favorites, not to sound cocky but every record on the 108 mixtape that I made was a classic favorite for me.

15. Name your top 5 all time classic albums?

2pac Makaveli, Biggie Life After Death, DMX Its Dark and Hell is Hot, Dr.Dre 2001, Eminem The Slim Shady LP, Onyx Shut Em Down, The Fugees The Score, Nas I Am, Mobb Deep Infamy, 50 Cent Get Rich Or Die Tryin, and Roc La Familia The Dynasty. Damn I went too far but I had to name more then 5 and there is a few more I missed.

16. What should we expect from you in the future?

Great NOIZ!
