Anglo American and World Recession Blues (2015)- Sarah LeMieux and P.M.Adamson - Video

DESCRIPTION:
One of my first uploads and collaborations was this song created over the Internet as part of Andrew Henderson's Trading Nothing campaign. The original backing track was sent to me to add a vocal and it was always in my mind that it would suit a piano part. So here is the next instalment of what was described as a song with clever and controversial lyrics. The Anglo American was derived from the fact the Collaboration was between USA and England which led me into the words. The Reference to Bob Dylan was due to the fact that what happened in the 1960's protest movement should be happening today but it is of great disappointment to me that Rock and Roll, etc have gone through revivals in the 70's and 80's but the Folk Protest Movement seems to have stalled in the mainstream. Maybe it will come via you tube in the not too distant future.Since the original recording Sarah LeMieux has been very busy with her new Quintet and it is well worth looking up.The Link is at the end of the song. I have e mailed Sarah to let her know about the new version but not been able to get in touch so hope it finds its way to her with thanks.
