2016 marks the 40th Anniversary of one of Canada's longest surviving independent record labels, Stony Plain Records. Recognized worldwide for it's consistent, high quality roots and blues releases, Stony Plain has been one of Holger Petersen's outlet for his love and passion for roots music, along with his two radio shows on CKUA and CBC Radio.
Named "2014 Record Label of the Year" by the Blues Foundation in Memphis, in this interview with Peter North the renowned promoter, writer and broadcaster, Petersen reveals how he has made a career in music with his record label of 40 years.
