THE HISTORY
Stitchy C (better known as Stitchy Casper to some, hype-man of the late Tre' Stylez, a legend in the Triad area in NC) began his rap career at the young age of 16 while still in high school in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2000, Stitchy formed a group called K.U. with a partner and released the 2001 debut "Nightmarez" under Anti-Authority Records. In early 2002, K.U. disbanded because of personal differences and with the group being no more, their contract with Anti-Authority was dismissed.
Early 2002 was when Stitchy C began focusing on a solo career. He recorded many songs, but they just didn't fit his standards so he scrapped the project until further notice. In the midst of recording, he was helping a friend and premiere up-and-coming hip-hop act of Greensboro, Tre' Stylez. Tre' released
one album entitled "Kill Me" which spawned the local street bangers
"Till I Die", "Cunniligus", and "Un-American". On December 3rd, 2005,
Tre' Stylez was tragically murdered in his hometown in a planned incident that lead to his death and left his family and the underground hip-hop scene in G-Town devastated with no one to look to.
After Tre's death in late '05, Stitchy C was forced back into the solo ranks and started recording tracks for his upcoming debut album entitled
"Dizzlexic Dialogue" and joined Ed E. Ruger as a hype-man, just as he did for Tre' Stylez. March of 2006 marked a huge break for Stitchy C as he joined Lil' Flip to perform for MTV and Maxim Magazine's Spring Break 2006 in Acapulco, Mexico at Disco Beach. Although the performance did not air, clips from their performance did air on MTV. Their was even coverage of DWB & Stitchy's show as well as photos in a Maxim issue following the event. Finishing 2006 and moving through '08, while recording Stitchy C kept his stage game up-to-date while performing numerous concerts with Ed E. Ruger and many solo shows. 2007 would also the mark the birth of his baby son he named Trey in honor of his fallen companion.
2009 will be something to look forward to for Stitchy C. His HIGHLY anticipated debut album "Dizzlexic Dialogue" featuring his head-bangin' single "Headbangaz" ft. Barber-Q & L.I.V.E. with the follow-up single "Talkin' Bout tha South" ft. Ed E. Ruger, a song dedicated to critic's hatred towards southern hip-hop. With Suga Hill Entertainment, and Iconoclast Productions behind Stitchy's project, the album is without a doubt going to be a classic. LOOK OUT FOR IT IN 2009!!!
