DESCRIPTION:
Alvidas Remesa composed "Stigmata" in 1987 as a compulsory Lithuanian piece for the International M.K.Ciurlionis Piano Competition.

"Stigmata" is a 5 miniatures cycle for piano. Sacral theme occupies the main part of the piece. Composer employs monothematic principle; movements of the traditional cyclic structure project consistent development of the main religous idea.
