David Bull Interview - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 19, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Some time ago I had the enormous privilege of interviewing one of the top ukiyo-e printmakers in Japan. His name is David Bull, a Canadian that discover his love for japanese prints back in is thirties. Since then he has been working intensely to become one major exponent of the technique. But his popularity had a huge jump when he and Jed Henry launch the Ukiyo-e Hero series in Kickstarter, rising more than 3 hundred thousand Canadian dollars (so printmaking can be a big deal!)
I’m not an audiovisual producer, but I hope you like this interview. It is full of opinions and advice for those who are pursuing a career in the arts field. You can also view in detail the process of creation of the prints! This is an exclusive interview he gave me in his workshop at the outskirts of Tokio, and the images are taken from is Youtube channel, which I hope you go to visit: https://www.youtube.com/user/seseragistudio
This is a personal project which I just want to share. The music is used under fair use. Please buy it here:
