Five Finger Discount are Jonny Strinati & Chris Hughes, who have been enjoying previous success as breaks outfit Groove Allegiance and running Splank! Records. After taking a leave of absence, they're back with their new tech house project Five Finger Discount. Their first EP lined up on Acidkids Records already brought them some enthusiastic supporters in the tech & deep house scene. Jonny and Chris have such a great and high-quality output at the moment, so we signed their second 'Slice Then Dice EP' on Globelle without thinking twice. It's containing three astonishing well-prodced tunes: 'Slice Then Dice' is a pounding tech house tune with some clean and pulsating synth st abs, certainly a real peak time blast. 'Dronkie' is all about the groovy stuff, tropical vocal vibes, a hypnotizing beat shaking the booties. And 'Quicksand' rounds it up with a buzzy hookline and a roller-coaster buildup, so there's nothing else for it but to throw your hands in the air and dance into the wee hours of the night.
