DESCRIPTION:
An original song I wrote recently during a dry season of my Christian walk.

It was strange because I haven't written a song in over a year and then all of a sudden the Lord just started flooding my mind with His promises, reminding me of His faithfulness. John 10:27 says, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow Me." And to me, that is such a beautiful picture of our Lord. Sheep are known for their wandering; they often get lost and must be looked for. Psalms 23 tells us that the Lord is our Shepherd. When Sheep need to be moved from one pasture to another they are led by a Shepherd. He takes care of them and makes sure they are where they need to be, and they they are fed. In the same way, the Lord is just like that! Whenever I find myself lost, or somewhere I shouldn't be, God reminds me that I am His sheep and He's got it under control. He finds me in my weakness and He never forsakes me, but rather His power is made perfect, and He feeds me till my heart is overflowing. Will there be mess ups? Of course! Does God delight in my sin? Most certainly not! But nothing can separate me from His love and nothing will make Him stop pursuing me, even when I can't see Him.
