…and a little bit of Punk!

“You can play a record and then bounce off the walls and get the adrenaline high, again again and again, because it’s a good record. You put a line of dope on the turntable and it’s gone! Done!”
It is not the first time for Biafra behind a dj booth, he’s often invited to party across the U.$.A. . He really enjoys spinning 45s and Lp’s and get the party wild. Biafra’s addiction to music and records started in his very early days. He’s a vinyl junkie since ever and still digging. His collection is wide and you can hear in his set a very large spectrum of sounds, all the good music that built his taste and inspired him as song writer and performer with the Dead Kennedy’s, Lard and his nowadays band The Guantanamo School of Medicine. The roots of the roots! The musical background of a true punk legend!
In this tour he will be accompained by Luis Soulful, a very well known Dj, collector, promoter and records producer (together with the co-founder Jimmy Soulful, he runs the Soulful Torino Records label). Since more than ten years he has his feet in both camps, the R&B-Soul and the Latin-Tropical scene. He never proposes classic Soul sets, always trying to bring fresh sounds and weird tunes. The perfect match for the incredible strange Jello Biafra’s selection!
