NICK RECORDKICKS label manager/a&r, dj, record collector and club promoter. Nick is the brain behind Milano’s funk & soul label Record Kicks. Since 2003 Record Kicks does its best to release new & rare funk, soul, dancefloor jazz, latin boogaloo and groovy orgasmic pop. In these years joined Record Kicks artists such as New Mastersounds, Baby Charles, Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra, Diplomats of Solid Sound, Frank Popp Ensemble, Smoove, Speedometer, Nostalgia 77, Diesler, Alice Russell, Shawn Lee, JTQ, Link Quartet and many more. Among the others Record Kicks counts fans such us Dj Andy Smith who compiled the last Let’s BOOGALOO vol.4 compilation, Adrian Gibson, Snowboy, Jazzman Gerald, Rob Luis, Nostalgia 77 and Paul Murphy. When Nick is not busy releasing records he can be found Djing around Europe where he has already spotted clubs like Cargo London, New York Club Barcelona, Revolver Upstair Melbourne, Marula Club Madrid, Enjoy Jazz Festival Heidelberg, Afrodisia Granada, Unique Club Dusseldorf, Urban Jazz Groove Bremem, La Palma Rome. Record Kicks nights are also responsible for the successful Groove Kicks compilation compiled by Nick. Since 2003 he promotes and he’s dj resident at BOOGALOO Club, Milano’s premier rare groove clubnight. During these years BOOGALOO Club hosted the cream de la cream of funk & soul contemporary scene including Eddie Piller, Andy Smith, Keb Darge, Ian Wright, Jazzman Gerald, Frank Popp, Henry Storch, Boogaloo Investigators, Diplomats of solid Sound and many more. His selections can also be heard on Radio Pelle Nera every friday from 19 –20 and Play FM"
