BLESSED ARE THE MARTYRS
(Voice narration)
For two millennia, tens upon hundreds of thousands of Saints have met death by the sword, the spear, stones, flames, and the jaws of mighty beasts.
While and by proclaiming the sacred Words of a peasant messiah they never saw or knew.
But since in Him they put their trust, they were granted eternal life.
Some will be remembered in history.
But most, those buried alive, and others who seemingly had no name, and were to the scribes a shadow that came and went.
Living to die, unknown to us latter believers, for being so close of an example to the One they served.
In His Divine memory, the Christ Jesus of Nazareth, they will always be remembered.
