"It is evident and undeniable that Jesus was a person of color and had a afro. The song and video of "Jesus had'a Afro" is strictly based on facts. I am only speaking from the scripture itself. My goal is to educate, elevate and motivate through music that is honest, clever and fruitful.

The image of a white Jesus, and the association of whiteness with godliness is not only historically inaccurate, but psychologically damaging. In no way is this song or video meant to be disrespectful to any race, culture or religious beliefs. Rather, this art is my attempt to rectify a dangerous mistruth."
