The And Band was the forth act up on stage for Swan Day CT they are represented by sling slang records. They played a great set of music with a punk folk country feel.

The And Band is an eclectic mixture of Sling Slang record musicians Michael James Anderson (vocals and guitar), Lisa Lawrence (vocals and guitar), Aron Uzanas (drums and vocals), and Peggy Haney (bass). Singer and Songwriter Michael has been a member of the metal band Flu since 1998 with The And Band drummer Aron, who works both the bass and vocals in Flu. Singer and Songwriter Lisa has not only brought her original vocal styling to the mix but also her harmonica skills. The combination of Anderson and Lawrence's songwriting and unique vocal styling is serendipitous. Aron's drumming is perfect and Peggy Haney "looks like she plays the bass effortlessly as if it is a part of her," says Linda Lawrence (mother of Lisa). Classifying themselves as "cow punk" The And Band is a great mix of Country and Punk Rock. Having a little bit of style for everyone. Tracy Clark believes "Their sound is the gritty kind of country you can really get into. They don't hold back, they just have fun and it always works." The And Band is definitely music you can drink, dance, laugh, love or cry to.
