Don’t be blinded by the disco balls and the lights in that video because what you’re hearing is a song off of Ariana Grande’s new album Moonlight.
Thursday morning the pop princess posted 2 clips on snapchat, sharing quick snippets of one of her songs off of her upcoming third studio album. It sounds like a 90’s Mariah Carey hit, infused with a modern dance beat. Let’s listen again
The 21 year old singer sure knows how to get fans excited about her new music. She teased a possible leak on snapchat when talking to Capitol FM saying QUOTE "My fans are like my best friends, I go online and I blab out a whole bunch of stuff that I shouldn't say and I just got Snapchat so god knows, my whole album will be leaked in two days!"
But it sounds like she is pretty excited about it too. She’s revealed that she’s been inspired lately and that the songwriting process is moving quickly. She said QUOTE "I really don't like to rush these things but it's all just coming together so quickly that I have no idea. I have no idea, I feel like it could be next month!"
Grande’s last album, My Everything, was released less than a year ago And she is still on her The Honeymoon Tour but her busy schedule is not stopping her from hitting the studio and making magic. She said QUOTE “I feel like this is definitely the best music I've made but I'm definitely very proud of it."
I think Ariana is the Christina Aguilera of her generation. She’s a huge talent and I cannot wait to hear the song she teased and the whole album! Do you feel the same way?
