In it's 5th year, Slanted Black Records starts off the year with a new website (http://www.slantedeblack.com) and their
first release of the year, which is a new addition of the TESTED series. Amsterdam Tested, World Approved is a well balanced mix of deep, funky, tribal, tech and downright dirty grooves from artists and remixers from all over the world. From the swinging groove of Bonjour Hi's "La Pata Y El Pato", to Dirty Rican's downtempo take on Eddie The Gun's "Don't Be Afraid, to Mykel Waters & Diallo's deep and twisted "Release", this could be Slanted Black's most well balanced compilation yet.

Along with the aforementioned tracks, there's also tracks and remixes from Rob Ticho remixing the smash hit from R.O.R. "Scarface", Mason.Dunn, Costa G & Themi Undergroove, Joe Dismal, Finley, and DJ Dextro. The compilation is rounded out with the Nino Bellemo & Elliot Dehoyos vocal remix of last year's "All Night" from Manny Ward & Joi Cardwell, while cRAIG mITCHELL & Eric Tenalio join forces on two mind bending versions of "Minimus Maximus." Also, look for cRAIG mITCHELL's remix of Eric Tenalio feat Sugar Shane's "Forbidden Fruit" on the Sub Scopping, run by the Stereo Soldiers.
