DESCRIPTION:
Grammy-award-winning Randy Kohrs, owner and engineer at Slack Key Studio in Nashville, has had his Hayes guitar for almost four years now. We recently had an opportunity to film an impromptu testimonial from Randy -- in his very cool studio -- as to why he loves his Hayes. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed by his glowing review. Thanks so much Randy!! :)

Transcript:
"My name's Randy Kohrs and i'm here today from Slack Key Studios to talk about Hayes acoustic guitars. i'm really proud to endorse these guitars. I always look for instruments that sort of take you back to another time period, when it comes to acoustic instruments. And more so with mandolins and banjos and acoustic guitars than anything. I really find that this instrument really harkens back to an era of the 1930s where they were the best that was ever built and i believe this is a modern-day version of the best that's ever been built. I'm really proud to have it. It gets used by a lot of my clients. I'm fortunate to have clients like Bryan Sutton come in and bring hundred-thousand-dollar Martins in here, but a lot of my clients don't have that access. So it's a total treat to be able to put this in their hands and throw mics up on it and it just sound like gold and I don't have to stress out at mix time to make it sound like a better instrument than it is. It's easy to record this instrument and there's a lot of proof out there like Clay Hess's "Rain" record that this instrument and his (Hayes) were both used on that recording and really really proud of that recording. It's a very very ... it's the very epitome of what bluegrass guitar is supposed to sound like in a recording atmosphere to me."

THANK. YOU. RANDY! :)
