DESCRIPTION: Simone Hines- What Difference ( Does It Make ) Simone Hines released her self-titled debut for Epic Records in 1997. Hines' career began as a club singer who graduated to sharing a stage with Queen Latifah and Michael Bolton. She also appeared alongside Aretha Franklin at New York's Apollo Theatre during a 1992 Democratic Party fund-raiser. The producers on her debut album included Narada Michael Walden, Harvey Mason Jnr. and Rodney Jerkins. A highly polished collection of sensual R&B ballads, three of the album's tracks were co-written by the artist. It also included a cover version of the Emotions' 'Best Of My Love'. In addition to the release of a single, 'Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!', Hines increased her profile by recording a track alongside Foxy Brown for Puff Daddy's 1997 album, a huge international seller.
