The first single, August 1997 on Shifty Disco records. Release #8 in the first Shifty Disco Singles Club (orange/green sleeves). Live performance in Aegis Sonix on an Amiga 500, recorded to and mastered from a cassette.
Shot on standard 8mm film in 1997, telecined via a Kodak Playtouch camcorder. Footage includes a Boss Dr-550, Yamaha TQ5 and a Yamaha SHS10, as well as experimental techniques like drawing on the film and scratching the emulsion etc.
The song title came from a film where a man entered a garage and there was a sign for engine services including "Lube" and "Tune".
The "B-side" was "A Tiny Shoe".
The singles club CD featured a rudimentary CD-Rom section with some photos and text.
It was voted "Worst Single" in the 1998 Shifty Disco awards. Three copies were said to have been sold in Iceland.
