Self Generative Patch: Modular Synth Jam (Braids, Clouds, Rings) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 24, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
Self Generative Patch: Modular Synth Jam

This went through 3 revisions (the first one was a complete teardown to begin from scratch again) and 6 or 7 different video captures of this patch getting the gain and fx levels balanced properly.

At the heart of control is Pam and Maths. Pam is throwing out lots of different types of CV (variable levels of S+H and triangle modulation, triggers with various percentages of skipped probabilities) for variable clock rates and evolving envelopes from Maths. Maths is then taking the random CV and self modulating in complex ways to strum Rings.

Sounds:Braids multed into Clouds and a second VCA. First clouds into Eventide Space (one of those sweet Richard Devine presets).
Second Braids into Ripples, as well as even/odd Rings outs are on an fx send from mixer to a couple delays and a verb on the m13 as seen around 3:30.
