Here is a bio I found:

As a new year lurks on the horizon Snook has positioned himself to be one of the biggest stars to shine for the state of South Carolina and it hasn't gone unnoticed by fans, radio personality, or DJs both at home and abroad.

In 2008, Snook dropped "From a Minor to a Major" Vol. 1 hosted by DJ B-lord and DJ Frosty (which went to win Best Host Mixtape at the South Carolina Music Awards), "From a Minor to a Major" Vol. 2 hosted by Bigga Rankins, and "Let's Smoke" hosted by "Mr. Southern Smoke" himself DJ Smallz. Also, in this year Snook would go to Houston, Texas and win "Carolinas (NC/SC) Artist of the Year", in Jacksonville, FL he won "Grinder Artist of the Year" and on the home court in Greenville, SC he won "Indie Grind Artist of the Year". Snook's "grind" mentality was recognized and this prompted him to be placed on the Southern Smoke College and Hypnotized Tours.

Continuing with his success in '08, Snook went on to have three singles see play through the airways; "Models" feat. Lil Boosie (peaked at 155 BDS), "Money" feat. Yo Gotti and "Untouchable" feat. T-Pain which to this present day is still undeniably one of his greatest tracks every recorded in his fans eyes. Snook graced the cover of both the Niche Magazine and Hot Block and he also made the "Patiently Waiting" section in the Ozone Magazine along with being mention by DJ Smallz in the Super Bowl edition to be in his Top Ten for hottest mixtapes out "Let's Smoke".

In 2009, Snook hit the streets and forced radio to pick up on two singles, "Barney" and "Presidential Freak" which featuring LeLe aka "Bad Bad". "Barney" was a track that Snook had for the streets and hoods but after much request from his fans and DJs supporting the record it's been garnering play on both urban radio stations in Columbia, SC.
"Presidential Freak" feat LeLe is the new female anthem in the clubs and radio where you can see and hear all the ladies chanting "she like da Louie, da Fendi, da Gucci, and da Prada bag...she a Presidential Freak". This anthem is getting spins on both local and surrounding stations. These two singles have been placed on countless mixtapes across the country with several clubs using the name to promote certain nights at their club for example "Presidential Freak Friday's".
So far this year Snook has dropped a gang of mixtapes both digitally and in the streets; "When the Smoke Clears" Vol. 1 hosted by DJ Cannyon Banyon, "When the Smoke Clears" Vol.2 hosted by Kash Kastro, "Smoke Out" hosted by DJ Cannyon Banyon & DJ Dyce, and "Smoke House" hosted by DJ Sean John.

In 2009, Snook along with his team made a strategic decision to focus more on the state of South Carolina to brand Snook along with his music and it has paid off greatly. You can hit the Low Country, travel up 95 to the Upper State, or hit I-20 or I-26 to the Midlands and the Snook brand ring bells. Rest assured that the hard work, the grind, the hustle, but more importantly the quality of Snook's music doesn't sleep. The present looks bright and the future has put on shades because it looks even brighter so be on the look-out for major noise coming from Snook da Rokk Starr -- Respect it or Check it!!! It's GAMETIME...
