Root Doctor (www.rootdoctorband.com) performs the classic Memphis soul staple "Green Onions", featuring Jim Alfredson on the Hammond organ.

Jim Alfredson is also the organist for the jazz trio organissimo (www.organissimo.org) and plays the Hammond XK Traditional System with a Hammond XK3 and a Leslie 3300. The front of the video is an interview with Jim about his early years and influences.

"Live At The Cadillac Club" hit number 8 on the Living Blues charts for October 2008 and won the WYCE Jammie Award for Best Blues Album. Root Doctor's previous CD, "Change Our Ways", got the band nominated for a Blues Music Award and also won a WYCE Jammie Award for Best Blues Album.
