Blackwood was a Eurohouse group that originally featured the face and voice of Taborah Adams. Taborah helped shape the groups success by writing such hits as "Ride on the Rhythm", "My Love For You" and "I Am". Taborah wrote and recorded three albums with Blackwood ("Ride on the Rhythm", "In The City" and "I Am"), which were licensed in over 53 countries and gained the group international exposure, awards and video airplay on Euro MTV. In 1998 Taborah was replaced by Recording artist Sheila Brody, who continued Blackwood success with such recordings as "Miss You", "Peace" and "Friday Night". She also recorded the "Friday Night" album. All of Blackwood's songs had charting success thanks to the group as a whole. The production team was composed of Tony Verde, Marascia and Sandro Murru AKA Kortezman.
Their biggest hits were "Ride on the Rhythm", "My Love For You" "All I Gave To You" "I've Got To Have You", "I Am", "Peace" and "Friday Night".
