Who is Rodrigo Leão
Rodrigo Leão, 37, is a singer and songwriter from São Paulo, Brazil.
He first came into the Brazilian music scene with his band Professor Antena in the early 90's. Professor Antena is still considered by critics one of the most creative Brazilian bands of the last decade and their rare vinyls are sought after by DJs all over the world. Besides Rodrigo, many other artists came from the ranks of Professor Antena. Drummer turned producer Che with the internationaly acclaimed "Sexy 70 Music Inspired by the Brazilian Sacanagem Movies", guitarrist and producer BID, who went on to produce Chico Science and Nação Zumbi, and was the driving force behind Funk Como Le Gusta, now a recording artist with his recently released "Bambas & Biritas". Besides these two, other great musicians also participated in the band: trombone player Tiquinho (FCLG, Jorge Benjor's Banda do Zé Pretinho), guitarrist Alessandro Delicato (Nomad), bassists Sergio Bartolo (karnak, FCLG) Sergio Carvalho (Djavan), Marcelo Trotta and Arthur Buccione.
As a songwriter Rodrigo Leão wrote many chart topping hits in partnership with Samuel Rosa, singer for Skank, one of Brazil's biggest rock bands. Together they wrote "Saideira", "Um mais um", Formato Mínimo", "Última Guerra" among others. Rodrigo also participates as a songwriter in Clube do Balanço, Brazil's foremost samba-rock act.

Rodrigo Leão, é cantor e compositor de São Paulo e começou sua carreira na cena musical no começo da década de 90 com sua banda Professor Antena, que é considerada uma das mais criativas bandas da última década e seus discos de vinil são procurados por DJs em todo o mundo.
Como compositor Rodrigo Leão escreveu muitos hits em parceria com Samuel Rosa, vocalista do Skank. Juntos eles escreveram “Saidera”, “Uma mais um”, “Formato Mínimo”, “Última Guerra”, entre outras. Rodrigo também participa como compositor no Clube do Balanço, grande banda de Samba-Rock.
