I first played with Martin Taylor back in the Isle Of Man when I was 20 years old. It was a life changing experience for me then and it inspired me to follow my passion of playing jazz.

Fast forward to a few months ago in London and I'm sitting with Martin Taylor in my brothers' house making music and swapping stories with my old friend.  It was just as inspiring as the first time round and I was so happy that we captured it all on film so we could share the magic.

My interview with Martin lasted over an hour and we ran the whole unedited version in Gypsy Jazz Secrets Magazine, and also a couple of duets.

The video you're watching now is an impromptu version of Swing 42 which is an old Hot Club De France classic written by Django & Stephane. Martin also taught a great lesson on how he improvises over Swing 42 which we present 
in the magazine.
