The interview took place on George Jellinek's radio program "Vocal Scene" in 1974, approximately 7 months before Tucker's death on January 8th, 1975. Here we can listen to the great tenor reflect upon many aspects of his career and success. He also has valuable advice for young and aspiring singers, which is very valuable. I urge any young singers watching this video to study carefully what one of the greatest tenors of all time has to say!
