"This year was a difficult one and this song "I Did it For Peace" was written during a thunderstorm both literally and figuratively. The power went out, in darkness I lit a candle, sat at the piano and pressed record on my phone's voice memo. I placed my hands on the piano...4 minutes and 12 seconds later I pressed stop and it was done. It was't until three weeks later that I opened up my voice memos and heard what I had recorded that night. For the first time in my life a whole song wrote itself in the time it took to play it....4 minutes and 12 seconds. What you hear is exactly note for note, lyric for lyric what came through me on that thunderous night. I didn't want to change anything because I felt it came from above. There are moments in one's life that make you realize the power of the divine, and for me this was one of those moments. I am grateful and I thank you all so much for listening.
