HOLA friends, old and new I was never comfortable with this kind

of thing. FIRSTLY, HI, HOLA, BONJOUR, BUONGIORNO TO EVERYONE!

How does one say hi, this who I am and this is what I do without

sounding awkward and self absorbed?!? I know I'm in the bizness of promoting and marketing my craft and all that jazz, but I was never

good at this kind of thing. For the most part, I am introverted and

somewhat shy, but somehow re-discover myself on a stage everynight,

just me and you, somewhat like the first date. All those feelings rushing forth all at the same time. Fear, excitement, I think I love you all in one moment. Kind of overwhelming yet grounding, good and bad, frightening and exhilirating, enlightening and humbling all at the same time. I suppose that is what we call life in a glance.

I am forever mindful of the gift it is to be able to do what I do

and NEVER TAKE THAT FOR GRANTED. I have met alot of amazing

DEVON NIKO, born in Oakville,Canada, lived his early life both in Canada and Mexico and still does today. For the last 30 years or more, the

secondary home place for Devon has been Mexico.

Devon comes from a varied ancestrial background hosting French, Spanish and Italian blood lines. His mother has influxes of Spanish and French blood, and his father also has influences of French and Italian blendings. Devon's

background easily allowed his love and appreciation of world music to play a role in his recordings and placement on the music scene.

DEVON began his career as a singer and songwriter in the early 90's in Ottawa, Canada. He is best known in Canada for his Canadian single

"ALL THE WAY", "ONCE IN A LIFETIME", "FORGIVE ME" and his unique

remake of "UNCHAINED MELODY".

PARIS, FRANCE for about 5 years, DEVON fell in love his new

address in MONTMARTRE and began his journey with BULLDOZER / SONY

MUSIC. The "INSIDE" album spawned 3 radio successes in Europe which included: "TELL ME WHY", "THAT'S WHAT YOU DO", "WAITED SO LONG".

The project was managed by CARYL CASALIS, who sadly passed away with

cancer in 2001. CARYL CASALIS is greatly missed by his wife Chantal,

children Paul and Martin. He was DEVON'S friend and mentor.
