LYRICS
Every now and then you feel the heartache
Every now and then you count the cost
Every now and then you get caught out
And find yourself a little lost
You see yourself a dislocated
Small piece of a jigsaw
But venture out beyond your garden gate
There's a whole other world at your door
Chorus:
You know there's so much to do and so little time, and you take them one by one
With the ups and the downs, before you know it you'll be heading for the setting sun
Caught in the slipstream, caught in the slipstream of life, and you go
Caught in the slipstream, caught in the slipstream of life, and you go
And find your way home
You've got a tired, restless mind
That keeps you up at night
Well I know that you had your doubts
It turns out you were right
You've got a long, long way to go
So I won't convince you to stay
You're picking up a stronger tailwind now
It's easier to walk away
Chorus
Where the sight and the sound feel right
And the battle of the soul has been won
And tomorrow you'll follow a new course and you'll find
Signs say it's time to move on
Caught in the slipstream, caught in the slipstream of life, and you go
Caught in the slipstream, caught in the slipstream of life, and you go
And find your way home...
