Singer/Songwriter living in Brooklyn NY and playing shows in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area for the past 5 years. By way of Attica NY Wren started playing in bands at 12 years old and by high school was on the regular Buffalo and Rochester Club circuit with band Joey Vicious.
In 2004 after recording Joey Vicious' first and only unreleased record, the band broke up and Wren started recording Joey Vicious material as Wren Williams.
In 2006 Wren released his first project/solo record titled "A Year To See". The record was only available for purchase at performances. Wren played with various incarnations of backing bands and would continue to play shows in the western NY area.
In late 2006 Wren started another year long recording endeavor at Red Booth Studios with Producer Brian Moore to record his first full production "Mutt Rawk".
The album title "Mutt Rawk" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the musical direction of the record. A collection of late 90's guitar driven Pop/Rock songs with clap-alongs and vocal harmony breaks. *update* The record is currently in the process of being re-mixed and mastered to be ready for an official re-release on iTunes this Fall 2012.
