DJ RasCue (a.k.a. Rasta Cue Tip a.k.a. EB.F. a.k.a. Black Burgundy) has been a DJ institution in the SF Bay Area for over 30 years, known for his seamless blends, crisp cuts, emcee skills, and crowd-rocking abilities. For over a decade he’s been a VP of Operations for the renowned hip-hop collective Urban Umpires and president of the hip-hop organ-donor awareness org Got Kidney?

RasCue created his legacy as half of underground hip-hop group Various Blends, and DJ for the world renowned Cali Agents (Planet Asia and Rasco). He also hosted of one of Urban Umpires 8 urban platform radio shows, Dancehall Riddims, which reached over 3.5 million listeners at its peak. Like most of the best DJs, over his career RasCue’s been about mixing “anything with everything” and has thrown down hip-hop, rap, reggae dancehall, Latin, house, soul-funk, nu-skool breaks, drum ’n’ bass, jazz, rock and much more.

RasCue’s collaborated with a massive list of cream-of-the-crop artists and DJs, including: Rasco, Planet Asia, Mos Def, Hieroglyphics, Ghostface Killah, Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, J-Rocc, Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow, Nu-Mark, Z-Trip, DJ Pogo(England), DJ Tonk(Japan), DJ Craze, Miguel Migs, Jay-J Hernandez, DJ Spinna, Louie Vega, DJ Marky(Brazil), Q-Bert, and Mix Master Mike.

In 2000, RasCue was voted Best All-Around DJ by San Francisco’s Clubby Awards in 2000. He continues to tour the world, having hit Japan, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean and toured throughout Europe.
