DESCRIPTION:
A fine Irish rebel song, performed here by Barbara Muller on her rare album "Double Premiere." This album has gained some notoriety in recent years, largely due to Barbara's performance of "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," which can also be heard on YouTube.

The song was written by Peadar Kearney. Many may know this tune from the Clancy Brothers or the Dubliners. It was also performed quite nicely in the 1950 John Ford film titled "Rio Grande." That film starred John Wayne! There are so many connections... So enjoy the music, and enjoy the history as well.
