Queensyze & Ded Sheppard Feat. MC Shockin B - Ghost Massive - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 18, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
East Van Digital presents our 18th single with Queensyze & Ded Sheppard.

There's a high level of pedigree on this single. Under the name Queensyze, Jennifer Roworth has earned the reputation for being one of Canada's leading drum and bass producers, while Ded Sheppard is the new project of Andrew Bartos, famously known as c((o))de blue and as one of the finest video game music composers on the West Coast. The pair have worked together before, on an electro filth project called Supercycle, but for this single, they have crafted two drum and bass tracks of epic calibre.

The A-Side, "Ghost Massive" is a punchy, uplifting piano driven jam with a slight electrostep flair, recommended for fans of High Contrast and John B. MC Shockin B, a dangerously quick jungle wordsmith with over two decades of experience under his belt, drops a few choice rhymes that take the track over the top. This track has been a long time in the making, as Queensyze has been hiding these vocals away for almost a decade, dusting them off for this appropriately titled track.

The B-Side, "Wrong Canadians" is a no-nonsense rager, gnarly and dark, akin to the hardcore techno influenced work of DJ Hidden and DJ Hazard.

Both tracks refuse to settle down and behave, delivering a heightened sense of drama at breakneck speed, though expressed through different forms. This single ought to be a shock to anyone who thought all Canadians were supposed to be nice.
