Following a collaboration with Bay Area rappers San Quinn and Mic-C, CFOUR met producer Starski (PimpHop Records) after a local show and an immediate musical bond was cemented. CFOUR and Starski's two-year collaboration grew into an organic and symbiotic brew of flows, hooks, and raps -- morphing, twisting, and exploding. "The Legacy Begins" is 19 songs, all written by CFOUR and Starski with guest appearances by 'lyrical supremisist' Mic-C. With a major nod to the blockbuster hit movie Tron and featuring futuristic album illustrations by Miami Kaos, the mixtape features CFOUR's heat-seeking original songs, DJ Ricky Switch's table crushing mixes, and perfect drops that make it more than a mixtape . "The Legacy Begins" may very well stand alone as a classic debut album from one of the Bay Area's most promising new artists.
