Dem Hoodstarz  are part of the Bay Area's Hyphy culture,but not to be confused.they are not hyphy rappers,though they represent the movement 100 % and make Hip-Hop music in all genres of Hip-Hop including, Hyphy, West Coast Rap, East Coast Hip-Hop and the Dirty South form.  The Hoodstarz consist of Band-Aide and Scoot Dogg,A.K.A The Blakk Boi Scoot. The group is a prime example of the Bay Area's hip hop movement. They gained recognition throughout the Bay Area with their hit single, "Grown Man On", produced by San Jose's Traxamillion. Their first album is called "Bandaide & Scoot", They both started in two different groups,but with the chemistry that they present you'd think they been joined at the hip from birth. Band-Aide started with a group known as Neva Legal consisting of partners, G-man , D Dow and Money Marc. Scoot Dogg was in a group started by rappers AD Kapone & Ten Dolla known as Totally Insane. Both Scoot Dogg and Band-Aide are from the Bay Area. Scoot Dogg comes from East Palo Alto and Band-Aide comes from the Eastern part of Menlo Park. Together the two long time street buddies have started their record label, LAWLESS RECORDS, along with G man,and now decesed Kenny Hamel.Now set to drop the much anticipated new CD "BLACK FRIDAY" with the new single "CODE OF THE STREETS".pushin the way for DEM HOODSTARZ to keep the Bay Area "DUMB ASS LIT"Go to I tunes right now to down load that new shit, "I GOT A PROBLEM" fet.
