DESCRIPTION:
From Pert Near Sandstone's "Ship Of Fools" 7" to be released April 2nd, 2013

"Ship Of Fools" is inspired by the renaissance era fable created by Sebastian Brant and Hieronymus Bosch. The original story tells the tale of a captain-less ship filled with sordid characters set adrift to it's eventual demise. The song was written by Nate Sipe (fiddle, mandolin) as an allegory for western civilization in the midst of political and environmental unrest, as well as hard days traveling across the country living on the fringes of society.
