Pert' Near Sandstone came out of the great Minneapolis folk scene. Gathered round a single microphone, these boys play well crafted original stringband music, as well as being stewards of the old-time tradition. Their high-energy and gritty brand of stringband music is sure to get you outta your seat and keep you dancing.
With the release of their latest album, "Out On A Spree" Pert Near Sandstone is hitting it hard, continuing to take their music out on the rivers and roads of the country as a part of the revitalization of the American stringband tradition.
