Timothy Marshall Cannon Jr. better known by his stage name Lil Trump was born to a single mother in Wedgewood Pensacola , Florida on April 2, 1978 . Trump’s father was absent most of his life as he played pro baseball for the San Diego Padres. When Trump was the age of five, his mother joined the Army branch of the military, leaving him with his grandfather until she was able to settle. Trump credits his grandfather for teaching him how to be a man as well as providing him with a lot of knowledge about the streets and how to survive in the streets. Trump moved back with his mother once she got settled into the military. Trump was then a military brat having the privilege of living multiple places within the South. They moved from Killeen , TX to Kingsport , TN and finally settling in Augusta , GA. While in school Trump was an all around sports player destined to follow in his fathers footsteps. He has played football, baseball, and basketball. Trump was also very talented in writing poems. Trump would express himself lyrically through his poems. He later started rapping and free styling his poems, uncovering his musical talent. Trump graduated from TW Josey High School in Augusta , GA. He was awarded a scholarship for his football skills. The scholarship did not work out, so Trump was forced to move back to the rough streets of Pensacola , FL to a neighborhood full of hustlers and crack fiends. Trump looked at his life as “Survival of the Fittest” so he quickly learned the game. Trump later befriended someone from the same neighborhood as him and they formed the rap group Pcolaz Finest. In 2004, Pcolaz Finest was on their way to the top when they were faced with a downfall; Trump had been arrested and was sentenced to 28 months in prison. Without Trump, Pcolaz Finest quickly went downhill and all of the visions that Trump had for the group started to fade. Once Trump was released in 2006, he was determined to start over and on a better path. He envisioned a bright future for himself as well as for Pcolaz Finest. Not being able to find a job, he was forced to remain on the streets day and night to take care of himself and his kids. Trump would also spend most of his days in the studio recording music. In 2009, because of several communication problems, Trump decided to split from the group Pcolaz Finest and become a solo artist. In May of 2009 he was accepted and started attending The F.I.R.S.T. School in Orlando , FL. In July, Trump competed as Best Solo Rap Artist in The Hottest of the Hood Showcase at Iconz Nightclub in Downtown, Orlando . Upset that he did not take home the trophy, Trump set out to make a name for himself in Orlando . He started networking, doing multiple shows, and handing out his music. He has opened for major artists such as Plies, OJ da Juiceman, BG, Trick Daddy, Bobby Valentino, Ace Hood,PLIES,THREE 6 MAFIA and numerous others. Trump now realizes that although he did not become the professional athlete that he once dreamed of, his dream of becoming a big rap artist will become true very soon. Trump graduated from The F.I.R.S.T. School in January 2010 with a diploma in Recording Engineering. He is destined to become famous and take his rap career further in the year 2010. He has recently released a mixtape hosted by DJ D-Strong of Orlando titled Back to Da Trapp. He is the CEO of Struggle South ENT. and will continue to keep his head up and put on for his city.
