Mike Bless, is a Pensacols-based rapper whose debut single, "Do It Like This" is set to become the club smash in 2009. Born in Akron Ohio, home to the likes of LeBron James , his career took off after he was discovered at the revered Slip N Slide Records’ “Next Big Superstar” competition in 2008. Shortly thereafter, he came to Miami, signed with Slip N Slide and continued to write, produce and conceptualize “feel good” music for his up-coming LP “Opening Act,” slated for release in Spring 2010. Mike Bless has a built a good underground buzz in the South by opening for Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T-Pain, Fantasia, Chamillionaire, Lil Boosie, Lyfe Jennings, and Gucci Mane to name a few. His accolades include writing for notable Gulf Coast artists such as like Ampichino, Ridiculous, Rich Boi, C-Nile, Mr. Magic and even the larger likes of Lil Boosie and Scarface. The release of his full-length album “Opening Act” is slated for Spring 2010
