DESCRIPTION:
You are enclosed in your own shell of reality. Your focus is on a stage. All you can hear is the screams of your peers along with that of your own voice. Like a resounding echo the word engulfs your soul. "SINDOLOR! SINDOLOR!" An ambient guitar tone approaches, followed by a distant chant. The chants become stronger as the thunderous bass begins sending tremors through your bones. The beat is that of an unknown nature A war march? A seance? Who knows? Who cares? It's drawing you closer with each snap of the snare. You shudder in excitement. You are held in anticipation for what is to come. Figures dressed in shadows step into the light. It hits you. It's Sindolor's night tonight.

The stage show is spectacular, giving visual and audio stimuli as well as an interactive entertainment experience. The front line gets a close-up view of the wide range in hairstyles which range from designs shaved into the head to spikes. The attire is whatever feels appropriate, from psych ward costumes to everyday street clothing. Musically unpredictable, Sindolor will take you on an emotional roller coaster with peaks, valleys and loops. The crowd is subject to jumping with the beat, singing along and an insane ALL GIRL MOSH PIT. Don't assume the guys are left out; there is always enough aggression to go around.

From the beginning the boys in Sindolor have never ceased to amaze. Growing in both skill and professionalism, the have come a long way. Since the band formation early January, 2003, Reuben "Rubix" Villarruel (lead vocals/percussion), Dennis "Den-wah" Chavez (bass/vocals), Paul "Pieces" Marcoux (guitars), and Jeff "T-baggz" Rivera (drums), have accomplished quite a bit. In July of 2003 Sindolor participated in the New York International Independent Music Festival in Las Vegas, a showcasing of talent from all over the world. After being judged in a number of areas including stage performance and originality, Sindolor was awarded "Best in Genre: Nu Metal" and gained mention in a few Las Vegas publications. Sindolor has released a 6 track EP "Deal 'Em Up" in 2004 which includes songs like "Sawd Oph", "Stigmata", and "Tether". This last April they released their latest full length album titled "Let's Take A Ride" which includes songs like "Watch Your Step", "Frustrations Agony", and "Like You". Songs from the EP have been heard on Salt Lake radio station Channel 105.7. Just like the EP their full length has had air time also, locally and in other states such as Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Keep an eye out cause they will be doing more touring in the years to come and you wouldn't want to miss out.

Sindolor has shared the stage with national recording artists as well as some of the best local and regional acts. The list includes: Soulfly, Ill Nino, Machine Head, 40 Below Summer, 36 Crazyfists, Slaves on Dope, It Dies Today, Crooked, Hemlock, Crisis, Domeshots, The Equinox, Falling Closer, Denots, Greyscale, Northwest Royale, Paylface, Sub*vert, Aggressive Persuasion, Cryptobiotic, Flatline Syndicate, as well as many others with many more to come soon.
