Who's Passing Dreams Around (Tom Paxton) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 04, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
This song is from Tom's album "New Songs for Old Friends" which was released in the mid 70's. Tom was a fixture in the 60's folk revival, and his facility for songwriting is legendary. He claimed that at one point he would lock himself in a room on a daily basis, not to emerge without composing a new tune -- formidable! The variety of Paxton's songs is astounding (even including some commercial jingles) and the songs are of consistently high quality. "Dreams" is not one of Tom's more famous songs, but it's one of my personal favorites. I play it here in standard tuning with the capo on the third fret. Keep your dreams!
