DESCRIPTION:
We enjoyed a week of music, an interesting winter music project organized by Costas Nikolakakis! Paola Esposito, mandoliniste, and Giorgio Ameglio, pianist, from Savona in Italy, came to Crete for this special mandolin seminar. This winter music seminar started with a wonderful concert in Heraklion in the Saint Marcos Church. The next day, our Italian friends hosted a workshop on Zorbas Island, a combination of Greek and Italian music with mandolin and piano! We will organize more music workshops and seminars including mandolin, lira and Greek music during the winter months.
