DESCRIPTION:
In 1983, I used my trusty tape recorder to capture the sounds familiar to those of us who had the honor and distinction of being in The North Shore High School Band.

The audio recording is the rehearsal prior to the 3rd Annual Sentinel Band Competition. The Stage Band held practice for this session in the North Shore High School auditorium, Houston, Texas.

Mr. Garcia is directing (you can hear him providing instructions & feedback). You'll hear other voices, most whom I no longer recognize and of course, you can hear me talking as well. If you happen to recognize a voice, leave me a comment!

Stage Band members listed are indeterminate as the list is compiled from a Spring Concert a few months later in 1984. If you know of any corrections that you would like to see reflected, please leave a comment below.

The audio held up well considering this wasn’t digitally transferred until a few years ago.
