Artist Biography: Sovversivo formed in 1998 in Milan, Italy. From 2000 Sovversivo's identity evolved when members began writing songs which mixed both Hard Rock and Heavy Metal styles.
From 2002 to 2006 thanks to the collaboration with the Black Dahlia Agency (Even Vast, Methedras ,Raza De Odio and Necrodeath), Sovversivo had the opportunity to take part in great live events, playing with well-known and respected bands such as Labyrinth, Rain, Extrema, Doomsword, Omen and Virgin Steele. Four demo cd's were recorded in the 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2005.
Sovversivo are: Andrea Uboldi (vocals), Matteo Serra (guitar) and Federico Gassa (bass), the founding members, and the drummer Gianluca Luci (ex Ahrcana), who joined the band in 2006.
At the beginning of 2008 Sovversivo entered the studio (Indyrecords studios - Hyades , Dust in Eyes, Kenos) to realize their first full-length: WILD EMOTIONS (worldwide digital release 9 november 2009). The album obtained great responses from experts both in Italy and abroad.
In 2010 the band started working for the new album, and between 2011 and 2012 entered the studio (West Link Studios -- Raw Power , Lifend, Prozac+, Vanilla Sky, Shandon) for the recording session. Ten brand new and explosive songs were recorded.
The album was mixed in the 2013 by Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Edge Of Forever, Glenn Hughes, Moonstone Project, Eden's Curse) and was mastered by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Angra, Axxis, Place Vendome).
Sovversivo signed with the Austrian label "Noisehead Records" which will release the new album "FALLING DEEP" in November 2013.
